It’s Harry Potter weekend! With the release of the seventh book, a few of us got together this Sunday for waffles, swimming, and marathon Harry Potter reading.
Sadly, I haven’t been following the series (though, as they’re now all released, I suppose I could read them straight through, no waiting!), so rather than read book seven, I did the next best thing — draw sketches of people reading book seven:
My name is Zachary Knoles, and this is my work. I'm an independent artist living and working in the SF Bay Area. I paint mostly figurative pieces with a stylized-representational look to them. I also make animated films.

very nice sketches. I’ve finally decided to start reading all the books. Currently i’m half way through the 5th book.
marathon harry potter reading…sounds better than a book club. maybe. but it cracked me up when i saw the drawing.
